Bitfusion’s Elastic GPU Platform Adds Powerful Capabilities to Samsung SDS’ Cloud Services Portfolio
SUNNYVALE, CA, May 15, 2018 — Bitfusion, the Elastic GPU Software Platform, announced it is partnering with Samsung SDS, a global software solutions and IT services company, to make enterprise-wide artificial intelligence (AI) deployments faster, easier and more cost-effective. Samsung SDS will incorporate Bitfusion’s AI virtualization platform for Elastic GPUs into its cloud services portfolio, enabling companies to accelerate implementation of AI for development, testing, training and production at scale, leading to increased efficiencies and decreased costs.
Bitfusion’s Elastic GPU platform delivers extensive CapEx and OpEx reduction, and increases utilization and organizational agility while keeping productivity at an all-time high. It works by enabling the creation of a common cluster (or pool) of GPUs to which AI and machine learning (ML) workloads to be assigned on-demand for the duration of the workload. The GPU pool can serve remote users across the organization, instantaneously, with any demand profile of GPUs.
